Large Format Microfilm Scanning

A problem sometimes found in engineering document archives is the storage of large format microfilms in 70mm and half-plate formats. These are difficult to reproduce but have to be kept available should the need to retrieve their valuable information arise. The equipment used to handling these formats has been obsolete for many years and a system for scanning them has been expensive and technically difficult.

CDS can handle these formats via a state of art greyscale conversion system, burning the scanned images onto CDROM so that prints can be made on demand at a reasonable cost or by using your own in-house printer.

Please contact us for a quotation for volumes involved or a one off service.
